• 2008.12.08 New version of the Second Messenger: please uninstall old version and install the new one.

• 2008.10.18 New script for Camp Master 2.02 (let me know if it works for next releases too) here.

• 2008.10.09 New version available: now with basic inventory management and a small map of the sim.

• 2008.09.10 It looks like there is a new Camping Bench (from Alicia Stella design) prompting you to push the right button among a choice list: 'CAR', 'CAT', 'BIRD', 'STAR', 'DOG', 'SHOE', 'MOON', 'BOAT', 'CANDY'. Here is the script for it.

• 2008.08.11 I've found a good site to know where Camp Master locations are: SLMame, sorry it's in japanese only :P

• 2008.07.27 New Script: added the script for Camp Master question. You can find it here

• 2008.07.09 Bugfix: IM with people now works correctly using the IM Session ID.
  Added the Python Panel: now you can try your own script! I'll add some API and examples soon.

Hi all, this is the first release of my messenger program for the SecondLife(tm) world.

What is Second Messenger ™ (SM for short)?

SM is a light client for the virtual world SecondLife®. It doesn't have all the 3D graphics but a simple messenger interface, like Skype, MSN Messenger or Yahoo.

What is it for?

SM is especially suitable for office use, where you are not supposed to play videogames but you are allowed to communicate with friends through chat programs: its essential look makes it very discreet.

How can I install it?

This is the setup program. Simply follow the instructions.
